August 4, 2011 — Hospice of the Chesapeake recently received a $5,000 check donation from Eddie McGowan and Ray Murphy of McMurphy Productions and co-producers of the Inaugural Annapolis Irish Festival. The Festival drew close to 10,000 visitors to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on July 9, 2011. The proceeds will support the organization’s programs and services in both Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties.
“As a community based non-profit, we are extremely grateful to the producers of the Annapolis Irish Festival for chosing Hospice of the Chesapeake to benefit from the proceeds of this highly successful inaugural festival” said Michael McHale, President and CEO. “This was an incredible opportunity to share our message as well as join in the festival celebration with the generous volunteers.”
