April 12, 2011 — Corridor Inc.'s 2010 Person of the Year, David S. Cordish, was honored Tuesday evening at a dinner that was held at Tatu in downtown Baltimore.
Cordish is chairman of one of the largest and oldest privately held development companies in the United States. The Cordish Company is headquartered in Baltimore and has offices throughout the country. Cordish currently is looking forward to the opening of the Maryland Live! casino at the Arundel Mills mall in Hanover. The Cordish Company broke ground on the $1 billion, approximately 300,000-square-foot casino on January 27, 2011.
"We're excited to create a world-class destination for Maryland residents and visitors and deliver on the promise to provide thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars each year to fund education and other important needs in our state," said Cordish.
