March 9, 2011 —Rubeling & Associates, a regional architecture and interior design firm, have been awarded the GBMC Project of revamping the medical center's main lobby. Additionally, Rubeling & Associates is also enhancing the appearance of the chapel doors, gift shop display windows, waiting areas, and extending corridors with elevator stations.
A total of 17 hospital department heads and executives reviewed and awarded this project to Rubeling & Associates. Seven firms were invited to participate in the design concept presentation and selection process. Greater Baltimore Medical Center, a 285-bed acute care not-for-profit hospital located in Towson, just North of Baltimore.
Rubeling & Associates is also enhancing the appearance of the
chapel doors, gift shop display windows, waiting areas, and extending
corridors with elevator stations.
