December 9, 2010 — (Above, left) Juli Anne Callis, NIH Federal Credit Union chief executive officer and (right) Bridget Bean, district director of the Washington Metropolitan District Office for the U.S. Small Business Administration present (center) Wendy Smith, president of Capital Area Transportation Service, with a $75,000 SBA loan. In addition, Callis provided Smith with a $100 gift card for gasoline on behalf of NIHFCU. Smith is the first business owner to receive a SBA loan as part of NIHFCU’s new business loans program.
