March 24, 2010 — Wagonheim & Associates, a Hunt Valley-based law firm, opened the doors to its office and hosted its second annual wine and chocolate tasting on February 4, 2010. The event, aptly titled “Confection of Judgment, part deux,” drew approximately 100 business professionals anxious to network… and of course enjoy wines and chocolates as an escape from the area’s tumultuous winter! Eliot Wagonheim, founder and principal of the firm, explained “We have found that this event really helps us to make connections between our clients and friends of the firm. While it is certainly a ‘client appreciation event,’ our true goal is to make introductions important to our clients’ bottom lines.”
Mitchell Pressman, of Chesapeake Wine Company, supplied an amazing selection of wines and cheeses for the event, and Kimberley Rigby, of Parfections Chocolates provided an assortment of handmade truffles, chocolate barks, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Among the guests’ favorite wines were those of Maryland’s own Black Ankle Vineyards, and Debbie Jones of BAV was on hand to discuss Frederick County’s latest and greatest wine creations.
Wagonheim noted that “when the original Confection of Judgment drew an immediate and enthusiastic crowd, we thought we had a winner. Once we heard from clients about new connections and new business as a result of the event, we knew we had to keep it going. Confection of Judgment Part Deux drew the largest response for any W&A event and has ensured a bigger and better Part III.”
