Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine celebrated the opening of its new four-story Patient Pavilion with several special events, including a reception and ribbon cutting as well as a Community Health Fair.
On Friday, July 10, donors, dignitaries, community leaders and elected officials gathered to witness the official opening. Assisting in the ribbon cutting were (from left) David Powell, chair, Howard Hospital Foundation (HHF) Board; Vic Broccolino, president and CEO, Howard County General Hospital (HCGH); Beth Plavner, Special Projects administrator, HCGH; Brian McGowan, immediate past chair, HCGH Board; Ken Ulman, Howard County executive; Harry L. “Chip” Lundy, chair, HCGH Board; Jay Blackman, executive vice president and COO, HCGH; Christopher J. McCabe, vice president of development, HHF; Evelyn Bolduc, vice chair, HCGH Board; and Michael E. Silverman, M.D., chair, Department of Medicine.
