December 20, 2011 - The need for classroom and lab space to meet the region’s increased cyber and technology training demands led the Anne Arundel Community College Board of Trustees on Dec. 13 to approve a 10-year lease for approximately 30,000 square feet of space at a Hanover office building near Arundel Mills.
The college’s current facility in Hanover, AACC at Arundel Mills, is already maxed out at peak times and has no room for additional classrooms or labs. The new AACC training center at 7556 Teague Road will contain specialized labs and faculty support space for AACC’s CyberCenter currently based on the Arnold campus and for contract training provided by the college Center for Workforce Solutions based at the Glen Burnie Town Center. The college plans to complete space modifications in time to offer fall 2012 classes at the Teague Road site.
