November 10, 2011 – The Central Maryland Regional Transit Corporation (CMRT), manager of fixed route and paratransit services in Central Maryland, is pleased to announce the award of grant funding to expand the Transportation Resource Information Point (TRIP) Program statewide.
At a press conference on November 9, John Porcari, US Department of Transportation Deputy Secretary, announced the award at the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) headquarters in Baltimore. MTA Administrator Ralign T. Wells, Congressman Elijah Cummings and representatives from various Congressional offices were in attendance.
