Community College of Baltimore County
The Community College of Baltimore County is the proud recipient of a $500,000 Challenge Grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities. The grant will be used to establish a Center for Global Education that will strengthen global perspectives throughout the college’s Humanities curriculum and help sustain and expand Global Education initiatives across CCBC.
The purpose of a Challenge grant is to help institutions and organizations secure long-term support for humanities programs and resources. Challenge grants are matching grants requiring recipients to agree to a two-to-one match where every dollar offered by NEH must be matched with two dollars in new nonfederal donations.
