Baltimore area parents have a new place to shop for name-brand children's furniture and accessories, from single pieces to complete bedroom sets.
Kids Furniture Warehouse (www.kidsfurniturewhse.com ) has opened a 10,000-square-foot retail outlet at 6709-C Whitestone Rd. in Woodlawn.
David Paulson of Manekin, LLC represented landlord, Generation III LLC , in the lease negotiation with Christopher Bond, who had owned and operated Kid’s Space , a 4,200-square-foot retail store in Westminster,
Opting to change the concept to an outlet with larger inventory, Bond closed Kid’s Space on June 30 to focus exclusively on Kids Furniture Warehouse.
“The Whitestone Road site offers great beltway exposure and we are excited to open in this new, larger space,” said Bond, who signed a five-year lease. “We are featuring wall-to-wall furniture at great prices for infants to teens.”
With brands like Lea, Young America, Berg , Bolton and Trendwood , the outlet carries cribs, bunk beds, loft beds, modular lofts, captain’s beds, canopy beds, sleigh beds, storage beds, trundle beds, platform beds, mattress sets and more. Its non-commissioned sales staff is dedicated to creating a pleasant, fun and rewarding shopping experience.
“At Kids Furniture Warehouse we believe children need a place to call their own, a place as bright as their future and as colorful as their imaginations. It should be full of all the things they love: a ‘space’ where they feel comfortable,” Bond said. “As parents we want a fast, affordable and easy way to bring it all together for our
children. You will find that here at Kids Furniture Warehouse.”
“This is a great location for retailers and office users needing inexpensive space and visibility,” Paulson said. “It offers a mixture of large and small spaces with loading docks and drive-in doors, and free, unreserved parking.”
