The Mullan Contracting Company Captures Three Excellence Awards From ABC Baltimore

February 21, 2012 - The Mullan Contracting Company has captured three Excellence Awards in the Associated Builders and Contractors – Baltimore Chapter annual awards competition. The general contracting firm was cited for work completed on behalf of the Baltimore County Courts Building; Chase Street Apartments and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

Baltimore County Courts Building - Known as the “New Courthouse,” Mullan Contracting completed demolished the fourth floor and constructed four new hearing rooms, three courtrooms, Judges and Masters Chambers, holding cells as well as associated office space. The four-story building is utilized by the Baltimore County Circuit Court, and the Offices of the Baltimore County State’s Attorney among other uses.

Manekin Construction Breaks Ground on McDaniel College Stadium

February 20, 2012 - Manekin Construction has broken ground on an $8 million multipurpose stadium facility at McDaniel College in Westminster, Md.

“The McDaniel College stadium presents a unique opportunity from a prominent institution,” said Craig Wess, president of Manekin Construction. “Being awarded the project was the result of a solid team effort by our consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.”

With a targeted completion date by the first home football game on Sept. 15, the two-story brick and concrete facility is under construction on the site of the current grandstand.
