September 9, 2010 — The  Board of Directors at T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. has elected Robert F. MacLellan as an independent director of the company. MacLellan is currently chairman of Northleaf Capital Partners, Canada's largest independent global private equity fund manager and advisor. Prior to this, MacLellan served as chief investment officer of TD Bank Financial Group. MacLellan serves on the board of directors of Ace Aviation Holdings Inc. T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. is a global investment management organization based in Baltimore.

September 7, 2010 — Chimes International Ltd. has appointed Dennis P. Moody as chief operating officer of Chimes Maryland. Throughout his career, he held executive level operations positions with Magellan Health Services, including: senior vice president (SVP), Network Services, SVP, Aetna Division, executive vice president, Business Operations, and president and COO, HMO/Insurance Division. Most recently, he worked as chief development officer for MHM Services Inc. in Vienna, Virginia. Prior to that, Moody was COO at Gateway Global LLC. Chimes Family of Services is an international multi-service agency headquartered in Maryland.

August 31, 2010 — Members of the Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA) recently honored Charles J. Wolf II, president and chief executive officer of Payroll Network. Wolf served as 2009-2010 president of IPPA, the leading nationwide trade association made up of privately held companies. Previously, Wolf served as president and CEO of Wolf Computer Systems , Inc., as executive vice president of Wolf Computer Systems , Inc., and founder and owner of Hughes Computer Systems. He also served as a board member for Payroll Network , Inc., Independent Payroll Providers Association, So Others Might Eat.

August 30, 2010 — Nancy LaJoice, Membership Director at the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber (BWCC), recently received special recognition at a BWCC Board of Directors meeting for her ten years of enthusiastic service at the BWCC. LaJoice joined the BWCC in August, 2000.  Over the past 10 years she has welcomed hundreds of new businesses to the BWCC, provided referral and marketing assistance to members and helped organize numerous networking events. The Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber is Maryland’s only regional chamber with a focus on four counties: Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties.

August 30, 2010 — Carton Donofrio Partners, an integrated advertising agency in Baltimore, has named Ellen Moore as its chief executive officer. Moore most recently held the position of chief operating officer. Moore joined Carton Donofrio Partners in 2000 after working with the agency as its client at WL Gore & Associates, the makers of GORE-TEX® fabric. Prior to being named chief operating officer in 2008, Moore served as a vice president and group account leader for Carton Donofrio Partners. Before that time,  she served as president of Alanby – Outfitting for the Outdoors, an outdoor retailing business headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
