February 3, 2012 — Jason F. Grove, a manager in the Audit, Accounting, and Consulting Department at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered, has recently been named Treasurer of the Dyslexia Tutoring Program. In addition to his responsibilities as a manager, Grove is also a member of Ellin & Tucker’s Technical Standards Committee which develops programs to enhance the professional staff’s understanding of current accounting and auditing standards and the firm’s Investment Company and Construction Services Groups. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Grove is a graduate of Towson University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. The mission of the Dyslexia Tutoring Program is to teach low-income children and adults with dyslexia, or a language-based learning difference, to read which is accomplished through a professional screening assessment and tutoring by volunteers who have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham method of reading, writing, and spelling.
