January 24, 2012 — Jennifer Huffman, an audit manager in the Reznick Group's Baltimore office, has been named to the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Maryland and their Finance Committee. Huffman will work with the organization on its ongoing fundraising efforts, and is currently involved in a major fundraising campaign for the organization - the MSP Polar Bear Plunge - that will take place at the end of January. She plans to join other Special Olympics Maryland committees as her role on the Board of Directors evolves. Special Olympics Maryland provides yearlong sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization aims to empower its athletes by connecting them with the community, encouraging friendships, and teaching sportsmanship and integrity.
