January 23, 2012 — Rod Staatz, President and Chief Executive Officer of SECU since 2003, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Previously, Staatz served as President and Chief Executive Officer for UW Credit Union. Staatz also sits on the Boards of CSCU (Card Services for Credit Unions), CUALN (Credit Union Auto Lending Network), CUBC (Credit Union Business Capital), OTS (Open Technology Solutions), Credit Union Miracle Day, the Maryland/DC Credit Union Association, and is Chairman of the Advocacy Committee for the Association. He was Vice-Chair of the CUNA Growth Task Force in 2007 and is the Chairman of the Large Credit Union Roundtable for 2008 – 2009. SECU is a $1.8 billion credit union headquartered in Linthicum.
