January 12, 2012 — RMF Engineering has appointed Stephen Devon, P.E., LEED A.P., CxA as principal and Ronald E. Maylor, P.E., LEED A.P. as project manager. Both Devon and Maylor, formerly with Schlenger/Pitz Associates, are electrical engineering experts with more than 50 years of combined experience.
As principal, Devon is responsible for supporting the firm’s market sector penetration and presence in the Mid-Atlantic. Devon was previously chief electrical engineer at Schlenger/Pitz. Devon is a past officer and director of the Maryland chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, and for the past five years he has severed as a mentor in the ACE Mentor Program of America. Devon is an affiliate member of the Baltimore Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
As a project manager in RMF’s building group, Maylor works with clients across the mid-Atlantic region across multiple markets. Maylor was previously an associate with Schlenger/Pitz & Associates Inc. He is a member of the Electrical League of Maryland (ELM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Headquartered in Baltimore, RMF Engineering provides planning, design, engineering, commissioning and facility assessment services to the healthcare, higher education, laboratory/research and government sectors.
