December 29, 2011 — Jody Martin has been named Executive Director of the Charm City Youth Lacrosse League (CCYLL). Martin brings decades of lacrosse experience to the position, having served as Men's Division Director at US Lacrosse since the organization's inception in 1998 and as Director of Membership and Chapters at the Lacrosse Foundation from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, Martin spent 12 years at Gilman School, where he held many positions including Athletic Director and Head Lacrosse Coach. The Charm City Youth Lacrosse League is a 501(c)(3) established in 2009 to provide recreational enrichment, leadership lessons, lacrosse training, league competition, and educational mentoring to underserved Baltimore City youth. The League also aims to help program participants identify and pursue team play and scholarship opportunities at area schools.
