December 20, 2011 – Profiles, Inc., a full-service public relations, marketing, social media and special events agency, has promoted Marianne Ortiz from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager. Ortiz joined Profiles, Inc. in October 2010. She is responsible for generating and obtaining media coverage for a number of clients including Chazz: A Bronx Original, Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, Reznick Group, The Shoshana S. Cardin School and Jewish Recovery Houses, among others. Before joining Profiles, Inc., Ortiz started her career at Edelman, in Washington D.C., and has held positions as an account executive at technology public relations agency Merritt Group and as account manager at Abel Communications. Ortiz graduated from the University of Maryland- College Park with degrees in Communication and Women’s Studies.
