December 13, 2011 — Melissa Pitchford, Chief Financial Officer at Katzen Eye Group in Lutherville, was recently re-elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Maryland Medical Group Management Association’s (MD MGMA) Board of Directors. Pitchford held the position of Treasurer from 2007-2010. She was re-elected to the board in September 2011 as a Medical Practice Director. Prior to joining Katzen Eye Group, Pitchford worked at Timonium-based accounting and consulting firm, Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedman, P.A. Additionally, she served as Chair for the Medical Practice Services Group of KatzAbosch. Pitchford is involved with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
