September 27, 2011 — Jonas A. Jacobson has joined Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander, LLC's Environmental & Energy and Government Relations Practice Groups. Jacobson provides counsel on environmental and energy regulatory matters, as well as strategic government advocacy for real estate, corporate and trade association clients. Previously, Jacobson served as the Director of Maryland's Waste Management Administration, and was subsequently appointed by the Governor as the Deputy Secretary of the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). From 2008 to 2011, Jacobson served as Baltimore County Executive James T. Smith, Jr.s top advisor, and later as the Director of Baltimore Countys Department of Environmental Protection. Jacobson received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his B.S. from Towson University.
