September 12, 2011 — Tammy Fletcher has joined The Arc of Howard County as Assistant Director of Quality Assurance. She is responsible for promoting and protecting the rights, safety, satisfaction, and community inclusion of the individuals supported by the agency. Fletcher previously worked as a member of the Quality Assurance & Review Team for the Developmental Disabilities Administration of Maryland. She was Quality Improvement Coordinator and earlier as a coordinator in the Supported Living department of the The Arc of Northern Chesapeake Region. The Arc of Howard County was started by a group of parents in 1961 as an advocacy and support group.
