August 16, 2011 — Dave Wheeler, Senior Vice President of The Columbia Bank, was recognized at the Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS) Annual Meeting and Volunteer Awards Program. Dave was nominated for and won The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region’s Volunteer of the Year Award. Wheeler has worked with The Arc of the Central Chesapeake for over three years and serves on their board as Secretary and is also the Chair of the Development Committee. Previously, he was a member of the Finance Committee. MACS, is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening agencies to support people with developmental disabilities and their families. The Columbia Bank, headquartered in Columbia, is an affiliate of Fulton Financial Corporation.
