July 21, 2011 — Annapolis Life Care, Inc., the parent company of Ginger Cove, an accredited life-care retirement community, has elected two new directors to serve on its Board:
- James W. Reinig, M.D., of Annapolis, is president of Annapolis Radiology Associates. He is also chief of the Department of Radiology at Anne Arundel Medical Center and serves on its Medical Board.
- Ella P. Bassett, a Ginger Cove resident, is a former systems engineering and information technology executive.
Elected officers of the organization for the upcoming year include: Admiral Charles R. Larson, USN (Ret.) – President of the Board; Betsy Cockrill Bannat – Vice President; Bob Hoyt – Treasurer; and Raymond Herzinger, M.D. – Secretary.
The only continuing care retirement community in Anne Arundel County accredited by CARF-CCAC, Ginger Cove is home to more than 350 active residents. It was founded in 1988 and is located on 30 wooded acres along Gingerville Creek.
