July 18, 2011 — The National Association of Tournament Directors (NATD) has named Louise Waxler President/CEO. Waxler brings more than 25 years of professional and amateur sports management experience to the NATD executive team.Waxler previously served as President of Integrated Sports Management Inc., a tournament and event consulting and operations firm. She serves as Director of Soccer Programs for the Maryland Soccer Foundation and Director of Operations for the Washington Freedom women's professional team. She has served as tournament director for the Columbia Cup and the Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) Tournaments and was an operations executive for both the 2003 Women's Women's World Cup and the WUSA Washington Freedom.Louise is past president of the NSCAA and founder of the Kicks Against Breast Cancer soccer tournament program. NATD is the first professional association that unites Tournament Directors of all sports for the purpose of leveraging buying power and knowledge.
