July 11, 2011 — Oren D. Saltzman, a member of the Baltimore law firm of Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC (ARD&H), has been named a board chairperson of Learning Inc. Saltzman is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, and is also admitted before The Supreme Court of the United States, the U. S. Tax Court, and the U. S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Active in the Baltimore and Howard County communities, Mr. Saltzman is a past chair of the board of directors for the Howard County Division of the American Heart Association. He is past President of Temple Emanuel of Baltimore and current chair of the Temple Emanuel Endowment Fund. He is currently serving as the Vice-Chair and Secretary of Learning, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Colleen and Erin Marlatt Scholarship Fund. Learning Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to re-engage Baltimore City at-risk adolescents in the process of education and to provide them with academic and life skills so that they may grow into caring and responsible adults with economic opportunity.”
