June 28, 2011 — Mary Ann Scully, Chairman, President & CEO of Howard Bank, has been elected to serve as the Maryland Bankers Association’s 2011-2012 Chairman. An active member of the Association, Scully has also served as Chairman of the Government Relations Council and Maryland BankPAC. She joined Howard Bank from Allfirst, formerly First National Bank of Maryland and now M&T. Scully is a trustee of Howard County General Hospital, a trustee of the Horizon Foundation, and a graduate of Leadership Maryland. She was chair of the Howard Community College's Commission on the Future , a trustee of the Howard Community College Foundation Board, chair of the Howard County United Way Partnership Board, co-chair of the Grassroots Capital Campaign, vice chair of the Howard County Women's Giving Circle, and an advisor for Loyola College's Sellinger School of Business. Mary Ann Scully was also a finalist for Corridor Inc's Person of the Year Award.
