June 21, 2011 — Evergreen Advisors, an investment bank and corporate finance firm, has hired Joe Statter as a Managing Director in the M&A practice. Statter will be managing Evergreen Advisor's new office in Tyson’s Corner, Va. Statter previously served as Managing Director in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group, heads Communications Services, Media Infrastructure, and Enterprise Hardware Investment Banking at FBR Capital Markets. Prior to that, Statter was with Arthur Andersen LLP's Corporate Finance Group where he advised middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions and private placements of debt and equity. He started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in as a member of their tax division. Statter is a CPA certificate holder and graduated from the University of Maryland.
