


May 31, 2011 — The National Aquarium has appointed three women to leadership roles of the National Aquarium Boards. Jennifer Reynolds takes top appointment as chair of the National Aquarium Institute Board; Tamika Tremaglio has been named chair of the National Aquarium, Washington, DC Board; and Anna Smith will lead the National Aquarium Foundation Board. Reynolds is partner and director of Ward Properties, a Harford County-based commercial real estate business. In addition to her work with the National Aquarium, Reynolds currently serves as chair of the Dickinson College Board of Trustees and chairs the Investment Committee for the Sheppard Pratt Board of Trustees. Reynolds has been the two-time recipient of Warfield’s Maryland’s Top 100 Women and recently received the Distinguished Women Award from the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. Tremaglio is a principal at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP in Washington, DC. In addition to the National Aquarium, she is involved with many professional organizations including the Institute for Human Growth and Development, Inc., National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and is the vice chair for the National Bar Institute. Smith is a group vice president with the M&T Investment Group. In addition to her work with the National Aquarium, she is a Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Maryland Mentoring Partnership; a Trustee of Stevenson University; a member of the Investment Committee of the Maryland Historical Society; and a member of the Maryland board for Maryland Life magazine. The National Aquarium Institute is a nationally recognized and respected conservation organization comprised of venues in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC, the National Aquarium Foundation, the Center for Aquatic Life and Conservation, and the National Aquarium Conservation Center.
