May 16, 2011 — George A. Johns has been named Financial Advisor and Director of Client Services of Columbia-based Parr Financial Solutions, Inc. Johns holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College. He completed his financial planning studies with the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2010. Prior to joining Parr Financial Solutions, Johns spent seven years in the Private Wealth Management group of SunTrust Bank delivering comprehensive financial planning services to high net worth clients. Johns also spent several years with T. Rowe Price working with corporate retirement plans as well as individual investors.
