John A. Scaldara, Jr. Appointed as The Columbia Bank's Chairman of the Board

May 2, 2011 — John A. Scaldara, Jr., President and CEO of The Columbia Bank, was recently appointed Chairman of the bank’s Board of Directors. Scaldara replaces retiring board member, Donald M. Bowman, Jr. as Chairman. The Columbia Bank, headquartered in Columbia, MD, is an affiliate of Fulton Financial Corporation. Previously, Scaldara directed the Corporate Services Group of the Bank and COLUMBIA BANCORP. Prior to joining COLUMBIA BANCORP, Scaldara held various staff accounting and consulting positions with KPMG LLP in Baltimore. He served as Executive Vice President of the Bank, Chief, Financial Officer and Secretary of

Corporate Financials Online Inc, and also as Chairman and Director Emeritus of the Howard Hospital Foundation. Scaldara has served as Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of COLUMBIA BANCORP and the Bank since 1991. Scaldara also serves as a Trustee for The Columbia Foundation, and as a Board Member for The Greater Prince George Business Roundtable.
