March 9, 2011 — Trusant Technologies, LLC, an information technology and construction management firm based in Ellicott City, has appointed Mark Tillotson, PE, PMP as its Vice President for Construction Management Services. Tillotson previously served as a colonel in the U.S. Army. A West Point graduate, Tillotson served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in the United States, Japan and Turkey. He also served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Later as Executive Director of Military Programs at USACE HQs, Tillotson was the chief of staff for a team that managed the worldwide execution of USACE’s $9.2-billion military construction program. After leaving the service in 2004, he became Vice President and Regional Operations Manager for Michael Baker, Jr., Inc. In its short history, Trusant Technologies has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing privately owned companies three years in a row and named to SmartCEO magazine’s Future 50 list twice.
