March 1, 2011 — The Lockheed Martin Board of Directors has nominated Rosalind G. Brewer to its board. Brewer is executive vice president of Walmart and president of Walmart Stores, Inc.'s South Business Unit; She joined Walmart as regional vice president, and was promoted to senior vice president and Division President of Operations and Regional General Manager. She later led the south business unit of Walmart U.S. as executive vice president and president. Prior to joining Walmart, she was president of Global Nonwovens Division for Kimberly-Clark Corporation where she also served on the internal Compensation Committee. Brewer held various management positions during the several years she worked with Kimberly-Clark. Brewer currently serves on the board of Molson Coors Brewing Company and the Spelman College Board of Trustees. Headquartered in Bethesda, Lockheed Martin is a global security company principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
