February 23, 2011 — Steven S. Manekin, CPA and director in the Audit, Accounting, and Consulting Department at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered, has been named one of Baltimore's 2011 FIVE STAR Wealth Managers in the Tax Advisor category by Baltimore Magazine. Manekin's selection was based on the results of a mail and telephone survey reaching more than 99,000 high net-worth households in the Baltimore area. Manekin is Chairperson of Ellin & Tucker's Law Firm Services Group, and a member of the Board of Directors of Ellin & Tucker Co. He is the past president of the Law Firm Services Assoc., and has written many articles appearing in legal-related and local business publications. Manekin has also been a featured speaker for the American Bar Association, the D.C. Bar Association, the Law Firm Services Association and The Association of Legal Administrators. Manekin earned a degree in History from the University of Maryland and a degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore.
