February 16, 2011 — U.S. Navy Rear Admiral (Ret.) Elizabeth (Betsy) Hight has been elected to Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) Board of Trustees. RADM Hight's professional experience and public-service record is one that can rival any other. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the Hewlett-Packard (HP) Enterprise Services U.S. Public Sector Cybersecurity Practice. Prior to joining HP, RADM Hight served as acting Director of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Commander of the Joint Task Force - Global Network Operations (JTF GNO). Prior to that, she was Vice Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Prior to that assignment, Hight was DISA’s Principal Director for Operations and Deputy Commander, Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations. Other positions RADM held include: Commanding Officer, Naval Computer and Tele-communications Area Master Station Atlantic and Program Manager for Mid-Atlantic Region Information Technology; Commanding Officer, Fleet Surveillance Support Command; U.S. Space Command Liaison Officer to the U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany; and as a member of the USSPACECOM Commander-in-Chief’s Group. COPT is a specialty office real estate investment trust (REIT) based in Columbia.
