February 3, 2011 — Gail P. Cunningham, MD, head of St. Josephs Emergency Department, has been named president of the Medical Staff at St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Cunningham has worked at St. Josephs Emergency Department since her emergency medicine internship and residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has served as St. Joseph Medical Center's chief of Emergency Department, and chair of its Credentials Committee. Additionally, she traveled on several mission trips for St. Josephs Tanzania Village Wellness Program, as well as, traveling as a physician with the Knights of Malta and malades to Lourdes.
