January 24, 2011 — Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC (ARD&H) members Paul A. Dorf and Walter R. Stone will be featured speakers at the Mid-Year Meeting of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), occurring Jan. 29 - Feb. 5 on the Riviera Maya in Mexico. A former associate judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Dorf will present ADR Methods with Judge Barbara Kerr Howe. The session will explore various forms of alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation and mini-jury trials. Stone will present Significant 2010-2011 Tax and Economic Developments. His talk will cover recently enacted legislation relating to tax measures, as well as proposals to address the nation’s deficit issues. The MSBA Mid-Year Meeting offers a forum for members to escape winter weather and engage in continuing legal education conducted in a tropical climate. As MSBA’s program committee co-chair, ARD&H Member Andrew Radding has planned and coordinated the curriculum for the Mid-Year Meeting.
