January 18, 2011 — Encore Construction, a general contractor specializing in restaurant, retail and office construction, has added David Davis to its team as Vice President of Pre-construction Services. Most recently Davis was Vice President of Purchasing for K. Hovnanian Homes in Chantilly, Virginia. Prior to K. Hovnanian, Davis worked with several members of the Encore management team at Uniwest Construction, where he served as a senior estimator. He has also worked for a number of other construction firms including Washington, D.C.-based San Jose Construction Group; Herman Stewart Construction and Development; and Mayfair Builders in Great Falls, Virginia.
