January 3, 2011 — Data Solutions & Technology Inc., a global technology and solutions company based in Lanham, has appointed Leon Stinson to vice president of aviation management. Previously, Stinson served as director of the Aviation Solutions Division. He also worked with FAA Airways Facilities and FAA Air Traffic Division. Stinson worked as an evaluation specialist in the Office of System Effectiveness and Evaluation and served on the National Free Flight Phrase 1 Program Development. He also held two major support positions as the KACC facility evaluator and the deputy training and standardization officer. Prior to that, Stinson served as an Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) operations manager. He is a member of the ICAO Roster of Experts.
