

December 29, 2010 — Lynne Brick, co-founder and owner of Brick Bodies and Lynne Brick’s Health Clubs, and Rhonda J. Tomlinson, CPA, President/CEO of RJ Tomlinson & Associates LLC, have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center. The recipient of many awards and honors, Brick was inducted into the Baltimore County Chamber Business Hall of Fame, appointed to the Maryland Commission for Women, given The Daily Record’s Maryland’s Top 100 Women award three times qualifying for “The Circle of Excellence,” and named “Maryland’s Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst and Young. Tomlinson was the first African-American chair of the Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber’s board of directors and is the founder and co-chair of the Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber Women in Business. She serves as a mentor in the STARS program, a school-based program encompassing students in grades K-12, and sits on the board of the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center. The Maryland Women’s Heritage Center was established to preserve the past, understand the present, and shape the future by recognizing, respecting, and transmitting the experiences and contributions of Maryland women of diverse backgrounds and from all regions of the state.
