November 30, 2010 — Columbia Consulting Group (CCG) has appointed Michael Thompson and Fred Woodward as account directors with the Federal team of Oakwood Worldwide. Prior to joining Oakwood, Thompson was an account manager at ANSYS Inc., where he worked with clients including Army Research Labs, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, and NSA. Prior positions include sales roles with Avatech Solutions, GlobalSpec, Sealed Air Corporation, and Arrow Electronics. Woodward previously served as a Federal sales manager at A. Pomerantz & Co., where he led projects with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Diversified Solutions Group, and for nearly three decades served in various roles at Westinghouse/Knoll Inc. Oakwood Worldwide provides temporary housing services to the U.S. Military, federal agencies, and government contractors. CCG is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
