Sept. 28 — The Y of Central Maryland announced its five Board of Director's Slate of Officers for 2010-2013. James T. McGill, Ph.D., who retired as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Johns Hopkins University, has been elected the Chair of the Board of Directors. The other officers elected were: Gary Foss and Bonnie Phipps as Vice Chairs, Scott Cousino as Treasurer, and Robert Zentz as Secretary. The Y of Central Maryland also announced three new board members: Jonathan T. Brice, Executive Director of Student Support and Safety for Baltimore City Public Schools; Thomas B. Hoblitzell, Senior Vice President of Willis of Maryland, Inc.; and Leigh T. Howe, Executive Vice President of Windsor Healthcare Equities, LLC. The Y of Central Maryland is a charitable organization dedicated to developing the full potential of every individual through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
