July 20, 2010 — Angie Barnett, President and CEO of BBB| Greater Maryland has been honored with a Brava! Women Business Achievement Award. The award is granted to those whom are making strides in business and who are building a stronger community financially, philanthropically, and through leadership. Prior to joining the business bureau, Barnett served as vice president of membership at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Barnett is also a 2000 graduate of Leadership Maryland and continues to serve on boards of community-based programs. Headquartered in Baltimore, BBB | Greater Maryland is a non-profit organization that was established in 1922.
