July 19, 2010 — Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC (ARD&H) Member Jerald B. Lurie has begun his term as president of The Simon E. Sobeloff Law Society, Baltimore Chapter. Lurie joined ARD&H in 1982 and currently chairs its Business Section. Lurie was re-appointed last month to the Maryland State Bar Association’s Board of Governors and co-chair of its Judicial Appointments Committee. Currently serving as executive vice president-operations of Temple Oheb Shalom, Lurie is the immediate past chairperson of the Maryland State Board of Pilots. He previously served as president of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. Lurie also has been a faculty member of Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers and is a past member of its Board of Trustees. Additionally, he is a prior secretary of the Maryland Board of Professional Engineers. Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC is a law firm based in Baltimore.
