July 13, 2010 — Rebecca Rienzi has been appointed executive director of Pathfinders for Autism, an organization founded by a group of parents of children with autism to support and develop lifespan services and provide information and resources for families of children with autism. Rienzi served as the nonprofit’s interim executive director since February 2010 and now assumes the permanent role of executive director. Rienzi has managed Pathfinder’s special events and implemented the “Family Fun Events” that allow hundreds of families to visit local attractions free of charge and with appropriate accommodations. She has also served as director, Outreach and Community Partnerships.
