June 9, 2010 — Padraic Kennedy, former president of the Columbia Association, is this year’s winner of The Horizon Foundation’s Richard G. McCauley Award for Transformative Leadership. He and other Horizon Foundation award winners will be honored at a breakfast on June 24 at the Hawthorn Center. Kennedy previously served as Horizon's board chair. The Horizon Foundation, Howard County’s largest philanthropy, addresses community health issues through strategic grants, community programs and partnerships with private and public institutions.
