June 7, 2010 — The Board of Directors of Emergent BioSolutions Inc. has appointed Marvin White as a Class II Director. White is currently system vice president and chief financial officer of St. Vincent Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive health care systems in Indiana. Prior to joining St. Vincent Health in 2008, Mr. White was executive director and chief financial officer of LillyUSA, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, where he also held leadership positions in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking in the Corporate Strategy Group. Prior to his career in health care, Mr. White was with General Motors in Illinois and Hewlett Packard in Atlanta. He serves on the boards of Marian University, Advantage Health Solutions, Inc., and has been active with the Center for Leadership Development, Saving Orphans through Healthcare and Outreach (SOHO) and with the United Way. Emergent BioSolutions Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Rockville.
