June 7, 2010 — Vanda Pharmaceuticals has appointed Vincent J. Milano to its board of directors. Milano is president, CEO and chairman of of the board of directors of ViroPharma, Inc. Previously, he was a senior manager with KPMG. Prior to that, he served as vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer. Prior to joining ViroPharma, Milano was with KPMG LLP, independent certified public accountants, where he served as senior manager. Based in Rockville, Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of clinical-stage drug candidates for central nervous system disorders.
