May 24, 2010 — Robert R. Bowie, Jr. (Harvard '73), founder of Bowie & Jensen, has been elected as president of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA). Bowie will be a featured speaker Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 in Cambridge, Massachusetts at Harvard's Senior Class Day as part of the University's graduation activities. Bowie is currently the first vice president of the HAA and has previously served as Vice President of Engagement and Marketing and College Affairs. He also served as Committee Chair of the HAA Schools and Scholarships Committee.
In addition to this, Bowie is a board member of the Harvard Club of Maryland, chair of its Schools and Scholarships Committee and is the founder of the HAA Early College Awareness Program. The Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) has 336,000 members and supports over 181 Harvard Clubs in more than 80 countries throughout the world. Bowie & Jensen is a law firm based in Towson.
