May 19, 2010 — David H. Nevins, president and founder of Nevins & Associates, has been recognized by Towson University by conferring him an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at the College of Business and Economics commencement ceremony. Prior to founding Nevins & Associates, he served as the chief marketing officer for Constellation Energy and the president of Comcast SportsNet. Nevins has served as chairman of Maryland Public Television, regional president of the Jewish National Fund, and president of the Towson Business Association. Additionally, he served as a member of the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland, and was the first student regent while attending Towson University.
