May 15, 2010 — Larry H. Letow, President and COO of Convergence Technology Consulting LLC, has been elected chairman of the Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) in Rockville. Letow is also chair of the Tech Alliance Charitable Foundation for the Tech Council of Maryland. Prior to joining Convergence Technology Consulting, he served as senior vice president of Infinity Consulting Group. Before that time, Letow was vice-chairman of TCM's MdTech Division, and also served as chief executive officer of their TechExec Forum. In 2008, Larry Letow was voted Corridor Inc’s Person of the Year for several reasons, including his winning the war to repeal the so-called Tech Tax. Convergence Technology Consulting LLC, based in Bowie, provides major initiatives project management and primary IT support. TCM's mission is to serve as the preeminent technology think-tank where executives discuss ideas, innovate, and solve technology issues that lead to bigger business.
